There's no more saying "If he doesn't stop doing this, he's going to taint his reputation." It's too late. His reputation is well tainted. His career choices over the past ten years cannot be forgiven. That's not the worst of it. With a new generation only knowing De Niro through his "Fockers" role, the amazing legacy he once had may not even be remembered.
